Under the Community regime of the PED Directive 2014/68/EU, pressure equipment and assemblies above specified pressure and/or volume thresholds must: be safe; meet essential safety requirements covering design, manufacture and testing; satisfy appropriate conformity assessment procedures and carry the CE marking.

• Design drawings and all detailed drawings with complete dimensions of all pressurized parts and parts necessary for stability
• Part lists with information regarding the materials, material standards and certificates (PMA acc. to PED)
• Results of the design calculation of the manufacturer
• Details of all pressure-bearing-weldings (inc. WPS)
• Heat treatment plans
• Inspection and testing plans (ITP)
• Information's concerning the fluid group and category
• Information regarding special loads and the mode of operation
